A busy beginning

It has been a very busy and rewarding first week as Principal of St Aloysius Catholic Primary School Chisholm. This week I have been made very welcome as I have settled into my new office at St John the Baptist Primary School Maitland. I have read through the numerous Enrolment forms that have been received through the Catholic School Office and have written to all parents inviting them to meet with me over the next three weeks. I am looking forward to getting to know all families who will make up the St Aloysius school community in 2015.
Today I visited the St Aloysius Kinder students who have commenced school this year at St Joseph's East Maitland and Our Lady of Lourdes Tarro. They are two delightful groups of students who are looking forward to their big adventure moving to a brand new school after Christmas.
This week marks a landmark week at the school site as the first frames are erected. It is now starting to look like a school building. Families are encouraged to drive past on the weekend to show their children this exciting stage in the construction process.
