More buildings commence

I have continued to meet many lovely St Aloysius families this week and have now met the families of more than 90 of our students for 2015. I am looking forward to meeting many families for the second time next week at our BBQ get togethers. On Tuesday evening June 17 there will be a family sausage sizzle at St Joseph's East Maitland at 6pm for families who have or are considering enrolling their children at St Aloysius. Then on Thursday evening June 19 there will be another family sausage sizzle at Our Lady of Lourdes Tarro at 6pm for families from that school who are planning to join the St Aloysius family in 2015.
Next week I am very excited to welcome our Senior School Support Officer Mrs Donna McMahon who will join me in our Office at St John the Baptist School Maitland. Donna is looking forward to becoming a member of St Aloysius staff and is planning on attending our family BBQs next week so please make her welcome.
Our buildings continue to grow with the commencement of our Chapel and Hall this week. The cross that is featured on the front of our Chapel will be visible throughout much of the Waterford County Estate.

Meeting our families

This week I have had the pleasure of meeting the families of 52 students hoping to enrol at St Aloysius. The excitement about the new school is certainly contagious. Families have been relieved to see the building taking shape quite quickly in the last week. St Aloysius will commence in 2015 with students in all grades from Kinder to Year 6. Our Kinder and Year 1 classes will be our largest classes. We hope to be able to finalise enrolment interviews by next Wednesday June 18 so that offers of enrolment can be posted to families before the June/July school holidays. Parents who have yet to make an appointment for an enrolment interview are encouraged to phone the school office at St John the Baptist Primary School Maitland on (02) 4933 5613 as soon as possible.
